Experienced medical staff
I’m the Program Coordinator as well as one of the instructors at Rare Diamond, I have had the opportunity to hold many roles in the health care field for over 20 years. I started out as an stna for several years this is where I began to build the love, compassion and empathy for the residents. With this experience I decided to continue my education and became a LPN. I continued working in long term care and rehabilitation units before I obtain my degree as a registered nurse. I have had the pleasure of teaching students as we explore this wonderful medical world. My goal is to properly train students so they are knowledgeable and confident as they utilize their skills in a health care setting. I take great pride in watching my students grow personally and professionally. I look forward in working with you as we care for our most precious jewels.
I have been in healthcare for 17 years starting out as CNA working for a home health agency. I received my STNA through Red Cross and continued working for agency and in a LTC facility. After 5 years of being a STNA I decided I wanted to become a nurse. I went to ATS for my LPN. I’ve been a nurse for 13 years. I currently work at Jennings on the rehabilitation unit. During my course as a nurse I’ve been a nurse supervisor, worked for agency taking care of clients in their home, providing supervisory visits, and opening new home health cases.
